Bali with a Baby or Pregnancy

We have been to Bali whilst pregnant, when Millie was 2 months, 6 months, and Summer 3 years old, and with pregnant friends. It is a great place to bring young children.

Baby Tips

  • Book a ‘bassinet seat’ for the flight

  • Bring a travel pram (take on plane)

  • If you are breastfeeding, bring sarongs to easily cover up anywhere

  • If you are bottle feeding, bring flasks to store clean drinking water for making bottles when out (bring 3-5 bottles)

  • Bring small bottle of dishwashing liquid + use boiling water to easily clean bottles

  • Use Gojek app to deliver bottled water, snacks, takeaways to your resort/villa/hotel

  • Hire a nanny to assist you daily ($6NZD p/hour)

  • Ask service staff at dayclubs and out and about to clean bottles if required

Toddler Tips

  • You can bring babies/kids to most beach clubs & restaurants - swim, play.

  • If you do not wish to bring them out to certain outings, hire a nanny ($6NZD p/hour) to look after them at your Villa.

  • Bring activities - drawing books, pens, bubbles, swimming togs, swimming ring,

Pregnancy Tips

  • Only eat pregnancy safe foods

  • Eat at the main resorts & clean restaurants

  • Do not drink un-bottled water, only drink filtered water and filtered ice
